About The St Patrick Irish Tartan
St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and one of the most revered figures in Irish history and culture. Born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century, Patrick was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at a young age.
After several years, he escaped but later returned to Ireland as a Christian missionary, credited with converting much of the Irish population to Christianity.
