Before You Start...
  • Always ask someone to measure you, never be tempted to measure yourself!
  • Please take all measurements in inches.
  • Please use a loose tailors tape measure, not a stiff DIY tape measure. These are cheap to buy either locally or online.
  • Stand relaxed (do not breathe in), with your feet together and look straight ahead at all times.
  • Ensure the tape measure is level all the way around for each measurement, it shouldn't be sloping or slanting.
  • If you need our assistance, please get in touch for further assistance.
Skirt measurement guide
Skirt measurement guide
Waist
  1. Please do not go by garments you have at home.
  2. This measurement should be taken at the slimmest point of your waistline.
  3. Measure firmly, but not too tight. The tape measure should be as tight as you want your skirt to be when worn.
Hips
  1. Measure the widest point of your hips.
  2. Add 1 inch for comfortable movement (or put a few fingers inside the tape measure).
  3. This should be at least a few inches bigger than your waist size.
Skirt Length
  1. Take this measurement down the side of your leg.
  2. Measure from the same position you recorded your waist down to the desired length.
  3. Please note that each skirt we offer has a maximum length available, which can be found on the relevant product page for the skirt you are ordering
